Kristen Crespo has been a Registered Nurse since 2010 graduating from Ramapo College of New Jersey with her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. After numerous years of practice in local Emergency Departments, she completed a Forensic Nurse Examiner course in 2017 and began working with the Monmouth County, NJ Forensic Nurse Examiner Program. She completed her Master's of Science in Forensic Nursing at Monmouth University in 2019. That same year, Kristen became the Assistant Coordinator of the FNE program for Monmouth County eventually taking over as the Coordinator in 2021. During her time with the Monmouth County Program, she has assisted in expanding the population of patients being served to include those reporting non-fatal strangulation. She has been participating in the instruction of clinical skills for new Forensic Nurses since 2019. Kristen is currently the President of the New Jersey Chapter of the International Association of Forensic Nurses. She is also a Director at Large for the International Association of Forensic Nurses.
