Haley Krueger-Alyass is a highly skilled and compassionate forensic and emergency nurse with a deep commitment to advancing patient care and education. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Forensic Nursing from Oakland University, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Her extensive experience spans multiple healthcare settings, with a focus on emergency/trauma care and forensic nursing, areas where she has made significant contributions to both clinical practice and professional education.
Currently, Haley serves as the Emergency Nurse Education Coordinator at Trinity Health in Livonia, Michigan, and works as a Forensic Nurse Examiner at Turning Point. In these roles, she leads educational initiatives, develops policies on evidence collection, safety planning for victims of human trafficking, and abuse screening protocols. Haley’s dedication to her field is reflected in her certifications as an Advanced Forensic Nurse-Certified (AFN-C) and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner-Adult (SANE-A).
In addition to her clinical leadership, Haley is a passionate educator and mentor. She has served as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Madonna University and as a Clinical Instructor in various healthcare settings. Her mentorship of new forensic nurses and graduate students has been instrumental in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals.
Haley is also an active contributor to the professional community. She frequently presents at national conferences, sharing her expertise on topics such as forensic nursing, human trafficking, and abuse screening. Her presentations have been featured at prestigious events, including the International Association of Forensic Nurses Conference and the Michigan Emergency Nurses Association Conference.
