MSN Student (Family Nurse Practitioner)

Melissa is currently an MSN student at the University of Pennsylvania studying to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. She was an active duty Navy nurse for 7 years, working with wounded warriors, in the Intensive Care Unit, and as a sexual assault nurse examiner. She has continued her work as a SANE working for the Philadelphia Sexual Assault Response Center.Additionally, she works in the Intensive Care Unit in the SICU at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
