Leah has been a Registered Nurse at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in the Emergency department for that last 8 years. She became SANE-trained nurse in 2019 and plans to sit for the board certification this year. She is also a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. Leah is passionate about caring for people and has experienced more than most in life. She uses this vast experience as a tool in helping care for her all of patients and survivors. Leah is looking forward to taking advantage of future learning opportunities through advancements and innovations surrounding forensics and is eager to be a part of the changes this will bring to forensic nursing.
