Elizabeth Kovach is the Forensic Program Coordinator for Sarasota Memorial Health Care System and an expert forensic nurse with over 20 years of emergency room experience. She is a board-certified Adult/Adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner and is also trained for the pediatric population. Elizabeth has developed and grown evidence-based forensic nursing programs in multiple states. She has been the lead instructor, content editor, and course coordinator for multiple 48-hour SANE courses, teaching both didactic and clinical modules. Elizabeth is active in providing education in her community for sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, and human trafficking. She is an expert witness and consultant and serves as the President of the Florida Chapter of IAFN.
