Tamara Dean, BSN, RN, SANE-A, is a forensic nurse for Honor Health in Scottsdale, Arizona, and an adjunct instructor for Grand Canyon University. Tamara has been a forensic nurse for 5 years and has performed over 900 exams. Tamara is very passionate about women’s health and started her career in labor and delivery in 2016 after earning her BSN at Chamberlain University in Phoenix, Arizona. Tamara is currently enrolled in her Master’s program in Public Health at Grand Canyon University with a graduation date of May 2026.
Mrs. Dean is focused on education and improving patient’s knowledge of consent, establishing a safety plan, and advocating for themselves in every situation. She was nominated for March of Dimes Nurse of the Year in 2020 and has received many accolades from former students and fellow instructors at Grand Canyon University.
