Suzanne Ackers, PhD, RN, is a Nurse Scientist and Assistant Professor of Nursing at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth TX. She earned her BSN at Abilene Christian University (1996), and MSN at Texas Woman's University (2012), and PhD in nursing science with a research focus in forensic nursing from Duquesne University (2023). Her clinical practice experience includes perioperative, psychiatric, school nursing and community/public health.
Dr. Ackers' research focuses on mitigating the health consequences associated with violence and abuse across the lifespan with emphasis on our nation's youth.
