Anna Lennox BSN, RN, SANE-A is the Sexual Assault Nurse Coordinator for the Whiteriver Service Unit on the Fort Apache Reservation. She graduated with honors from Milligan College (University) in 2014, receiving her Bachelors in Nursing. She has worked in the Emergency Department of Whiteriver Service Unit for 9 years. Ms. Lennox has been a practicing pediatric, adolescent and adult sexual assault examiner for 7 years, taking the Coordinator position in 2021. She has worked to create a flourishing forensic program providing 24/7 forensic care. Ms. Lennox works closely with tribal and federal partners to improve care provided to Native Americans in her community. She serves as a member of the White Mountain Apache Domestic Violence Coalition and heads the local Sexual Assault Response Team. Her program was awarded IHS Forensic Funding Award to continue to grow the department. She was awarded Nurse of the Month for Indian Health service in 2023, IHS Teamwork Award in 2020 and 2021, and was recognized by the Department of Justice for Excellence in Service Provided to VIctims of Crime 2024.
