Cara Yingling, BA, BSN, RN, SANE-A, is a clinical forensic nurse with Saint Luke's Health System. Her backgrounds is a Bachelor's in English from Azusa Pacific University and an accelerated Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from California State University of Fullerton. After 10 years of working with high schools, she switched to become a Certified Nurse Assistant while going to nursing school. Her nursing career has been focused in the emergency department, with a stint in Interventional radiology. She currently has been a Forensic RN for almost 3 years.
Ms. Yingling is focuses on empathetic, compassionate, and quality care for each patient. She became SANE certified in 2023. At the 2023 IAFN conference, she was a co-poster presenter for Development of a Human Trafficking Flowsheet for Medical Forensic Examiners which was rewarded first place. She received Saint Luke's Health System's Hope Award in 2023.
